Agios Kosmas Ellinikon

Thrace Yachting runs its own operated base at the Agios Kosmas Marina, the least crowded and best organised private marina in Attica. Due to its excellent morphology, it is not only the best shelter spot from extreme weather conditions in the whole Attica area coastline, but it is also extremely accessible as it is just 15 km away from Athens’ centre, 25 km (approx. 30 min) from the Athens International Airport and 6km (approx. 7 minutes) from Alimos Marina.

The marina is located on the coastal area in southern Attica, next to Glyfada. It is 15 km from Athens city center and 25 km from “Eleftherios Venizelos” International Airport, accessible by car or taxi, by tram and several bus lines.

By bus: The bus stop named ‘2nd Elliniko’ is located outside the marina and provides easy access to Athens.

By tram: The tram stop “Ellinon Olympionikon (Greek Olympians)” is located just 100 meters from the entrance of the marina and also provides easy access to Athens.

Setting out from Agios Kosmas, you have the whole Aegean Sea and its countless islands to choose from for your sailing holiday.

Lefkas Marina

You can also start your Thrace Yachting holidays from our base at Lefkas Marina, one of the finest and most hospitable marinas not only in Greece, but also in the Mediterranean basin, to enjoy the best of the Ionian Sea.

Lefkas Marina is situated on the northeastern side of the island, a hop away from the main harbor and Lefkas town. The 50-meter long bridge that connects the port area with the Greek mainland is considered a major plus for speedy access at your convenience.

By car: Despite being an island, Lefkas is easily accessible by car through Akarnania, so you don’t have to worry about boat scheduling or extra fares. The underwater tunnel of Preveza-Aktio acts as a great entrance gate from northwestern Greece and the Port of Igoumenitsa (100 km) and also from West and Central Europe. If you take the route pass the Rio Antirio bridge, you opt for a scenic drive across one of the longest multi-span cable-stayed bridges in the world.

By plane: There are daily departures from Athens International Airport (ATH) and two flights per week departing from Thessaloniki Airport (SKG) and Sitia Airport (JSH) at eastern Crete, landing at the international Airport of Aktion (PVK), only 18 km away from Lefkas. Direct flights from major European cities to Aktion are on schedule from April until October. Corfu, Kefalonia and Zakynthos are also connecting stations.

By bus: A daily bus service will get you to the island in about 5 hours, either from Athens (378 km) or from Thessaloniki (420 km).

The coastlines of Lefkada offer many options to sail under excellent conditions to memorable ports and anchorages such as Palairos, Mytika, Kastos, Port Leone, Episkopi, Papanikolis Cave, Vathi, Spartakhori, Menidion (Ambracian Gulf), Sivota, Vasiliki and Rouda Bay.

Starting from Lefkada, you can island hop your way around, getting all the way down to Ithaca and even further afield to Kefalonia if you wish.
